Fernando Busciglio was born and raised in Rosario, Argentina, and moved to the United States at the age of 12. Bilingual in English and Spanish, he spent 12 years as a certified Spanish-English court interpreter for the Judicial Council of California before transitioning into the actuarial consulting field.

Fernando holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from California State University, Fullerton. His actuarial consulting experience includes IBNR reserve analyses, experience reporting, creditable coverage testing, premium equivalent development, and other health and benefits-related projects. He also has extensive expertise in Excel and enjoys using VBA and automation to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and develop practical analytical tools.

Outside of work, Fernando enjoys producing electronic music, watching soccer and sketching. Most importantly, he is a devoted father to his daughter, who is his greatest source of inspiration and motivation.
